Suze Lessing (portrayed by Amanda Foreman) is the friend of Adam and Kristina Braverman, the wife of Phil Lessing, and the mother of Noel, who is an autistic friend of Max's.

Suze and Phil meet Adam and Kristina in Season 1 when Adam and Kristina were trying to get advice about their son, Max, possibly having autism since Suze and Phil's son, Noel, also has autism. Phil and Suze were shown to be very knowledgeable about everything, going as far to have note cards about the subject. Phil and Suze become friends with the couple and appear every once in a while. Phil and Suze split up for some time, but eventually get back together.
